stanley Report post Posted October 3, 2011 I know several folks are heading-out on Junior deer hunts this weekend! My two youngest and a couple of friends have 36A tags, and I can't wait! Looking at the weather, it appears as though it will be cooling down. Perfect timing for this weekend's VERY early hunt! I was figuring that we would be glassing in 90+ degree temps, but the forecast is now for cooler temps..... I'm optimistic that the cooler weather may help the deer stay active a bit later in the day (as compared to 'normal temps' this time of year...). On the other hand, you never really know what a big change in the weather either way will do. So what do all of you experts think? Good luck to everyone who is going-out with the kids this weekend!
