A couple new bears

Recommended Posts

No more water barrel pictures. The local cattle population found it and drank it dry. Too much work to refill just to meet the needs of the beef industry. Looking for a new spot for the trail cam. This is my first real cub.

I was wondering how you were keeping up with the watering chores on that setup, but maybe you had a packin system.

Can't complain about the new photos though, there just must be an amazing population of bears out there cause I know we have had many bears on our cameras and you know that we aren't getting everybody's pictures on here.

Nice pics thanks for sharing them...

I might be a little off, but I thought that I once read that some wildlife survey had suggested that we have 4,000-6,000 non-reservation bears in Arizona.

That is pretty amazing, I remember as a kid spending time at Greer and going to the dump to see the bears come in and now, getting to know a little better about their habitat and seeing so many on our trail cameras and then coming into contact out in the woods with them has been so much more exciting than watching them at the dump.

We hope to get to see a bear or two during our October deer hunt.

Thanks for the stats.....
