Any Ron Paul Supporters Out There?

Recommended Posts

Yeah...we need more slick talkers and telepromter readers. The only difference between Romney, Perry and Obama, beside the obvious, is the letter behind their names on the ballot.

with our electoral college (which is one of the most brilliant things our forefathers thought of) a vote for a 3rd party presidential candidate can be a vote for obama. that is exactly what happened when perot did his little trick. folks voted for him and we ended up with clinton twice with less than 50% of the vote. anyway, i never listen to any media folks. i read and listen to the candidates and do a lotta research into their history. i was really impressed when perry got in the race but after his "heartless" comment, i ain't gonna vote for him unless he wins the GOP nomination. i won't support him in the primary. i think romney has some possibility, especially with his financial background, but i still think there are a lotta folks who won't vote for him strictly because he's a mormon. but i also thought when folks actually got in the voting booth that enough of them wouldn't vote for a black guy to keep obama out, too. i was wrong there. there are a lot more stupid folks than even i thought there is. herman cain is really interesting. so far he hasn't said anything stupid. he doesn't have anything around his neck like romney and perry do like religion, romneycare and the heartless deal. and he seems to be genuine in his conservative nature and feels that folks should work for what they have. but he will be called uncle tom and all the other names that liberals like to call black guys that aren't liberal and there might be enough conservatives that won't vote for a black guy to keep him out. but he is real interesting. but i don't think ron paul is the answer. i don't see him ever getting enough traction to put up a legitimate fight and i really disagree with his isolationist ideas. but any of the 3 guys that seem to be leading the conservative side, cain, perry and romney, can get the support they need if conservatives can look past any stupid bias they have for things like religion and race and vote for the man and not his religion or color. I want to see what Cain is about. Seems he's the new one people are talking about.

Herman Cain at least has a sense of humor I will give him that; but I dont like his record. He supported TARP, bailouts, and he was the former Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. Anyone who supported the bailouts are OUT for me. There is a GOP debate tomorrow on Bloomberg TV. I will be watching...

Herman Cain's 9-9-9 tax proposal scares me. I did the numbers based on my 2010 income and how he has described his plan, and found I would pay more in income taxes, to say nothing about his new national sales tax. Each new tax really hurts us retirees on fixed incomes. Even so, I will vote for him if he is Obama's opponent in 2012.

If it were me, I would do away with the income tax altogether and go a straight federal sales tax. The more you SPEND the more you pay, instead of the more you make. Not only is more fair, you could cut the BILLIONS in wasted money the IRS spends every year chasing tax cheats. The IRS could be 1/10th the size it is now.

i hafta agree with the federal sales tax and no income tax. then everyone has to pay income taxes and the more you by the more you pay. this commie wealth redistribution that obama has dreamed up is BS. if you have anything, you have too much and he wants to take it and give it to somebody that might vote for him. i haven't investigated the 999 deal yet. but even if it ain't the best deal, at least he has some kind of a plan. obams's only plan is more taxes. he can't stand it that he ain't got it accomplished yet. but cain, romney, paul and perry all have some interesting ideas. don't know if they will work but it is refreshing to see some ideas with detail and thought. instead of "i have a plan but i don't know what it is yet". Do you people base your votes on who CAN win or you WANT to win?

I would never bastardize my vote by selecting a candidate I don't agree with solely because the media says he can or cannot win. It's not a game where you win a prize if you select the winner. That's how we get goobers like Obama in the White House.

thats also how we got mclame as the rep canidate

Ron Paul recently condemned the killing of Al Qaeda Anwar al- Awlaki. If Ron Paul doesn't know who our enemies are, he doesn't belong in the white house, or even in Congress for that matter. nuff said.

He condemned the killing of a US citizen without due process.
