deercrazy Report post Posted September 30, 2011 I have reentered archery with a new bow, and would like to know what release everyone is useing. I use to shoot a T-handle release, but would like to switch to a wrist strap style. So many to choose from. Thanks for the help.

stalkincoues Report post Posted September 30, 2011 Can't beat the Tru-Ball short-n-sweet with the NON swept back trigger. Last hunting release I'll ever buy! Have a couple in case one wears out or I lose it.

QCwtAddict Report post Posted September 30, 2011 I like the Scott little goose. They are reliable, I used the same one for 8 years and now my girlfriend who just started shooting is using that one and I got a brand new one. I think they are available in both the Velcro and buckle strap.

coues hunter Report post Posted September 30, 2011 I like the little bitty goose from Scott. It is small and can tuck into the wrist strap. +1 +1 four years on my little bitty goose. have the one with buckle strap and rope connection. It adjusts much shorter than most releases. Just make sure you get one that you can adjust to fit you. ie not reaching for the trigger.
youngbuck Report post Posted September 30, 2011 I have had 2 little bitty geese (plural goose?) for the past 6 years with no issues. I keep one in my truck and one attached to the bow. I don't wanna be without one. I don't shoot a ton, but they seem to hold up. Both of mine are the velcro style. If I could do it over again I would go with the strap and belt style buckle, they are a lot quieter.

TEAM JESUS Report post Posted October 1, 2011 I have shot the Scott mongoose for the last 10 yrs. Love it. Now my son bought a Scott Silverhorn with the strap. With this release you can only shoot a D-loop. I am now going to buy one of these. Probably the Rhino with the strap. Take a good look at these if you shoot a D-loop.
