lucky2hunt Report post Posted September 28, 2011 The Flagstaff as well as the sportsman communities have lost a good friend. Steve leaves a legacy of kindness and generosity, rarely was there a charitable auction that didn't have something donated by Steve/Signature Taxidermy. When walking in his shop I was always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome, Steve was never too busy for a chat and always so excited to talk about hunting. Steve did all my taxidermy work, by looking at his work you can see what a wonderful artist he truly was! He will be sorely missed! Prayers for comfort to his wife Heidi and all his kids, it's unimaginable the pain they are going through right now...
couesdiehard Report post Posted September 28, 2011 A horrible tragedy. Prayers sent for the family. I was thinking where did I just read something about Steve Favour and it hit me. Jim Hartsock just made a post yesterday about the Phoenix Chapter of SCI raffling off a lion hunt and full body mount or rug. Steve had donated the taxidermy services. Here's a link to the raffle page http://www.phxsci.org/. He will be missed by many. Lee
