couesdiehard Report post Posted December 16, 2011 No, I am not looking for a J104 any longer. I am pretty happy with the Horn Hunter Full Curl system. I have been so busy since my hunt I haven't had time to write my review of the Full Curl and the Bino Hub from Horn Hunter (and load photos) but I will say that overall I am pleased with both purchases and I plan to use both regularly now. As a side note, TOBY, I did not tag out. Only saw two branch antlered bucks, each for a couple of seconds at 600 plus yards. Never even fired a shot. My buddy got a 2X3 on second to last day and together we passed on about 30 spikes over the duration of the hunt. Lee Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
yote sniper Report post Posted December 17, 2011 Ok I broke my old packframe finally (hated that thing) and I have been comparison shopping hunting backpacks. I am looking for something to use as a daypack and meat-hauler with the ability to be used as 3-5 day hunt backpack being a bonus. As I am vertically challenged (5'7") size of the pack is important. After inspecting and trying numerous packs on, I have narrowed my choices down to the Eberlestock J34 and the Horn Hunter Full Curl System. Problem I have is that there is a ton of info on the Eberlestock out there but very little reliable reviews of the Full Curl yet. Seen a video and read one pretty detailed review about it but the rest I've seen I wouldn't put much faith in. My question (finally) is this. Has anyone on the forum put a Full Curl System through its paces yet? I put a lot more faith in the opinions of the hunters on this site than most places so I am really interested in your input. Thanks in advance. Lee take a look at kifaru packs they make hunting and military packs . very well built lots of options and attachments you can mix and match to your liking there not a piece of junk . TOBY Report post Posted December 27, 2011 My horn hunter curl combo(deception 3d) will be here this week just in time for piggies. I will pack out 2 different pigs with it opening day. On a side note I found a HH Mainbeam in original predator deception online for my wife. It will match all her custom sewn deception camo she made herself...as well as the rest of the family she makes as well.Will post a simple review after all is said and done.
