Thats a good one! Neither of these Arizona teams are going to the Rose Bowl or even close. Heck, UA isnt even going to go .500 this year. I will proclaim it now. The Stoops era in Tucson has to be over this year! He got them out of the Mackovic hole but he did as good as he is gonna get with this team. Can we play in the Sunbelt conference during football season?? I mean geez! They cant even kick field goals. Ok, ok....I'm done whinning now.

As a UofA ulum, I tried to watch one game this year and it was so pathetic I literally had to turn it off and delete it from my DVR. The cats usually play pretty poor football, but this year has to go down as one of the worst. I'd rather watch ASU play. At least they have a program, and can step up in big games. And no, my 3 sons won't be attending UofA. I'd rather them go play baseball at MCC or NAU, if they are fortunate enough to play sports beyond high school.

i'll betcha a bunch they don't see any roses this year. unless it's on a bottle o' cheap wine. only reason i watched the game is because i hate ohio state and wanted to see em get stomped because i knew illnoise was havin' a good year. but nooooooo, illnoise looked like a buncha idjuts out there. they had so many chances to win it wernt funny. ooooohweeee they looked bad. if they can't beat osu this year, they ain't gonna go to no decent bowl. now i'm watchin the devils look like imps. man they shoulda won this one tonight but they have way too many stupid idjuts too. can't believe some of the stupid penalties. college football coachin' has to be the worst job on the planet. they need a pistol and need to just shoot some o' the guys on their team to make an example for the other ones. asu really missed a chance tonight. and illnoise better get ready for the weedeater bowl or the maybe hormel spam bowl. if they'd both played a little better maybe we'da seen a rematch in the rose bowl. but not this year. Ouch.....this is the first loosing season in the last four or five. A little harsh don't you think.

 

And for some objectivity this is ASU's fist good year in what the last four.

 

So I guess you can say they have a program THIS year.

I never really thought they had a chance to go to the Rose Bowl unless Wisconsin plays in the title game. Illini football sucks for the most part, so when they have a good year it's fun. They are still better than AS-WHO though. And they have been to two Rose Bowls and the JR College in Tucson is still boycotting that game.
