My first trail cam pics

Recommended Posts

I am new to the trail cam game. I bought a Covert from Jeremy a few weeks ago. I hung it in my elk area 2 weeks ago, in a somewhat random spot and captured a few subjects. I think this new "hobby" will be fun. I think the second one is a cow elk really close to the camera. I hope to get a crack at this bull in a couple days (last pic). He is a 6x7.

Cameras are an addiction of their own. It starts with one picked up and strapped down for curiosity sake. Then you get the pictures, all down hill from there. Better angles, different trails, water, salt, high angles and low, now more pixles and maybe video. All building to the full fever because there is no season, it's forever.

Then the inevitable liberated cam, astonishment, anger, revenge, new camera, lock box, chain, hiking in further, hanging higher, a second camera to cover that camera.

I love it and wouldnt trade it for anything. It is fun and exiciting. Might even get bigfoot one day!
