rugerman Report post Posted September 6, 2011 I stalked this buck on opening day 2.5 miles down a mesa. Dropped down below the rimrock and crawled back up to within 100yds. Glassed him up in the sunflowers and waited for him to stand. 3 steps and one shot from the .270. Enjoyed the hunt and the company of my uncle.
