Rag Horn Report post Posted September 5, 2011 I went to plug my external hard drive into my computer only to find the female mini usb plug thingy was broken off inside the hard drive. Thus not allowing the cable to be plugged in. Is there a file recovery company or external hard drive mechanic I can take my hard drive to and get this fixed long enough to transfer the data to another external hard drive? Thanks for your help. What size (not capacity) external enclosure do you have ? If it's just the plug on the case side where the actual HD is cradled in it ain't no big deal, I can help you. Drop me a PM.
