clb Report post Posted August 28, 2011 Yes this was a calf kill. The problem with it was that the kill was less than 1 mile from the Mexico border. We had dogs but had to call them off when the lion started to head south. Sure would be nice if the weather was a little cooler too. The dogs as well as us got hot fast.
