Red Rabbit Report post Posted January 18, 2006 I have read on other boards where USRAC might/could move production to their facility in South Carolina, and that New Haven is dead. Also, a company would need to buy the Winchester name from Olin and start production from scratch. Seem to be rumors at this point, but the situation does not sound promising. Shiras Report post Posted January 19, 2006 Oh man, I hope this doesn't start a trend......i.e. give the libs a foothold. All I know is that my Winchester 670 .30-06 will NEVER leave my family. It was given to me in '89 from my dad when he bought it in '67. It is going to my oldest son when he is 16. Hopefully it will end up in my great grandson's hands.-Shiras
