BowNut Report post Posted August 21, 2011 Arrowed my first bird yesterday at 15 yards on a day trip. Had my wife with me she is becoming my good luck charm! Did not see much all day just a few doe's. About 5PM the thunder and lightning was just Nuts! Told the wife we need to get out and back to camp. Got about half packed up and about 8 birds come running after a HUGE sound of thunder. He slowed to almost a stop and I let him have it. Only went about 2 yards. Took some very quick pics in the pouring rain and headed home it was Great end to a Great day. Thanks to my wife for hanging with me all day and my buddies Doug and Robert for the invite to there camp and stands for the day.
