We went about a mile across the flats through a herd of cattle to within 90 yards and got him on opening day. We could have gotten closer if we needed to for a bow shot. we are both over 6' and 200 plus at the time and it conceled both of us in the wide open. Rombo Report post Posted August 24, 2011 Zebu Cow blind works really well. We killed three goats with muzzleloaders last year with Zebu and have shot alot of rifle goats in the past with it... You can literally walk right up to 50 yards or less in most cases. I will be using it on my hunt in 19A next weekend and will post photos. EliGrimmett Report post Posted June 17, 2012 I used a cow decoy a couple years ago and it worked really well the first couple times I tried it. I never got closer than 74 yards, but I figured that was pretty good. A tip I picked up from Randy Newberg on that hunt - try to come at them from above them with it. Just a little bit of an angle downward to them and you'll have better luck. Also, if you're hunting only one or two particular antelope, get it done early with the decoy.
