standman Report post Posted August 12, 2011 Went out this morning to do a little elk scouting and found this herd of elk (28, 4 little bulls) on the far side of this small lake. My dad and I eased to the tree line and watched this herd swim 200 yards all the way across the lake. The whole time the herd was calling back and forth constantly unil they reach the near shore in front of us. It was pretty neat. The pics are cell phone pics. Click on the pics for bigger pics.
