CouesWhitetail Report post Posted August 9, 2011 Awesome! Congratulations Jackson and crew! Glad you guys went up and had a great time. For those that don't know, this hunter ed weekend was put on by Youth Outdoors Unlimited. This is a great group that supports outdoor activities for everyone (youth hunting camps mostly, but they will cook for any outdoor event). The main leaders of the group are also hunter ed instructors and so they do alot to support hunting. Visit Youth Outdoors Unlimited on facebook. They could use some donations and volunteers for those that are interested. This is the same group that did all the cooking at my women's javelina hunting camp. huntin4... Report post Posted August 9, 2011 Nice job. My son just did his field day on Saturday and finished his hunter safey course. He also turns 10 in September and will be elk hunting in October. Good luck on your hunt.
redline410 Report post Posted August 9, 2011 Took my two girls and nephew to the camp this weekend as well. What a cool gig for the kids (and adults). Woody, DeWayne, Bill and the entire crew put on a fantastic camp. Can't say enough about how impressed I was with the whole experience. The way I look at it- if two teenage girls can get through the entire weekend without their phones and I not get annoyed by the whinning, somebody did something right. Also had the privilege of meeting Tracy, Angie, Jackson and their two lion hounds- great people to say the least. Dave
