Coolpapabill Report post Posted January 14, 2006 Anyone seen rutting activity in Unit 29? We were in the Chiricahuas 2 weeks ago, and saw over 40 does and fawns but no bucks. This weekend showed a little bit of rutting activity but just not as much as we would like. It snowed a little bit up there but did not stick to good. The deer are moving all day though so you should have a good chance of seeing some bucks. Little bucks are about all i have been seeing. creed Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Coolpapabill Report post Posted January 18, 2006 We worked are way up Turkey Creek from the the Natl Forest outside of Paradise a couple miles.We also followed the closed road from Rustlers Peak campground about 2 miles,as well as summit trail.Lots of does and fawns,sign everywhere but no bucks.Hope to do better this weekend.
