gregaz Report post Posted August 6, 2011 I have a DLC Covert 2 and when I do test photos, It takes a picture but when I put the card in my computer it just shows an "x" as the picture. Is the card bad or am I doing something wrong? Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted August 6, 2011 It's probably the card. Can you try another card in the camera? That would be the easiest way to test it. The other way to test it, is to directly connect your trail camera to your computer and see if you can view the images that way. Use the USB cable that came with the camera and hook it to the computer than turn on camera. then find that trail camera drive in your computer list and click on it to find and view pics. Testing it this way will let you know if it's perhaps the SD card slot on your computer that is having trouble showing the pics. If you see the pics when the trail camera is hooked up to computer, but not when you insert just the SD card into the SD slot on computer, then it's the SD slot on computer that is at fault.
