azpackhorse Report post Posted July 28, 2011 I have this mount that came with my Leica Duovids and I have absolutely no use for it, anyone interested in it? If so, make me an offer. If someone wants it and we agree on a price then you can pay the $ directly to Amanda here on CWT and I'll ship it to you.
Viper Report post Posted July 28, 2011 I'm not sure how this works, by looking at the pics. I assume the rubber(?) strap wraps around the bino, but I don't get the two different sized notches in the plate. I have a Leica Trinovid 12x50. The universal adapter I have is similar, but a flat plate with foam, and velcro straps that wrap around each objective. It works well, but a little hassle with the velcro straps. I'm always up for something simpler.
azpackhorse Report post Posted July 28, 2011 bdrew, the different sized sides allows one barrel of the binos to remain rigid and the other side to move to allow for width adjustments, it is very sturdy. I just wanted a more permanent mount so I bought the Outdoorsman's mount. It would work well for your Trinovids
