Flash Report post Posted August 6, 2011 Don't EXPECT them to be in the rut..... Down there a few years ago and the smaller bucks were rutting opening weekend and the bigger bucks started around Xmas. As far as the original question, lost of nice folks on this site willing to give some good general advice, so I am sure you will be fine. I liked the southern third of the unit.
