WISH I was on the MOUNTAIN Report post Posted July 27, 2011 hello i am noob, but excited to be apart of this forum/community. I have grown up hunting mainly mulies and elk, but have gone on a few couse rifle hunts without any luck. We saw the couse, but never got close enough to shoot. My brother-in-law convinced me that I need to join this forum and get into couse hunting. He was a long time member of cwt.com until he passed away a few months ago. We really miss him! We were lucky enough to get a few 24b early dec. tags (hunt 1089) this year. I was just wondering if that area has good genetics and produces big bucks? Well I guess, I can sort of answer that question myself because a few years back we were hunting mulies in 24b and I nearly shot this nice couse that I jumped. I just saw antlers but then I saw the white flag, so luckily I did not shoot. Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen or bagged anything big from that unit. No I do not need to know coordinates! Thanks!
