Sad news about the Pinetop bear attack

The Gilbert woman who was mauled by a bear three times in one attack in Pinetop last month died Monday night after suffering a brain hemorrhage over the weekend.

 

Lana Hollingsworth, 61, was attacked June 28 by the bear, mainly on her upper body, as she let her dog out for a walk late at night in the Sports Village area of the Pinetop Country Club.
