WildHeritageTaxidermy Report post Posted July 25, 2011 Here are some photos from the show. I decided last minute to take the Mountain Lion Pedestal mount from the ATAA show, to Sioux Falls, SD for the National Taxidermy Competition. After 22 hours of driving and 3 days of waiting I was thrilled to see I received a 1st Place ribbon in the Gamehead Division. I took some pictures of some of the other mounts, thought you all might like them.

izquik72 Report post Posted July 27, 2011 Some of those african lions are pretty intimidating. I really like the bobcat mount with the kittens. Is that one cat sitting in the tree the "AZ Jaguar" Marc Plunkett did for Az G&F?
WildHeritageTaxidermy Report post Posted July 27, 2011 To my knowledge Mark Plunkett did not have a mount at the National Show in South Dakota. The leopard on the branch, was mounted by Bill Neuman, I believe he is from MN. Dale

izquik72 Report post Posted July 27, 2011 Ok I just saw a size difference in the Leopard walking on the log and the one sitting in the tree. I assumed it was a Jaguar. Anyhow... Very nice mounts congrats on yet another show winner!
