Hunt 6016. 31 years to draw. Weak kneed, post adrenalin rush. Can't think right now. EBB

Holy Cow! Congratulations on your sheep tag. You want to rent that good luck hat out to me? Awesome tag for sure. :)

Its ok, I deserve that and Chris uses the computer to take all the shots he can at me....

Chris,

I will be switching up tactics this year and trying to gain positive karma.... The hunt is mentioned, it is out there and I am going to try my best to not bring it up.

Congrats to you and Larry for your October tags in 33. I will be out there in November with my little brother trying to find him a buck as well.

Come on Casey, "all the shots"? Try selective shots.

Can we all say thread highjack?

I'M the highjacker? Get a life.

Get a life? Come on Casey. Where was I accusing you of highjacking this thread? I was referring to myself.

A good friend of mine got a Rocky tag for the 2nd hunt. He already invited me to go along. Should be exciting!

Guys,

Thanks so much for the sentiments. I just went back to the G&F website and it still says "Draw Successful". I even printed it out. I still can't believe that I finally got drawn for sheep. There is hope, especially if you have max Bonus Points. I had always assumed I'd get the tag when both knees were in need of replacing. They still work but this might void any warranty I had previously. I think I will offer that lucky hat up for rent next drawing cycle. It's funny, now that I've drawn I'm sitting here wondering what to do first. I've never even been in 24B but, I guess now I'll have the opportunity. I was on one sheep hunt before when a friend got drawn in the Copper and Mohawks about 20 years ago. I just remember that the more eyes we had behind the glass the better off we were. But back then there weren't enough carrots to find a shooter in there. If I keep rambling like this I may have to check myself into an institution for observation! I'm still a bit dazed!

Thanks,

EBB

EBB, I would be there for your hunt in a second but will be on my own tag... Let me know if you want some help scouting and myself, my lab, and my Leica binos and spotter will be there!
