mason a Report post Posted July 18, 2011 I have 3 cameras out about 3 or 4 miles apart. I've got lots of bulls on camera, Some big, some small. Im worried because i will be hunting in the rut, but I have no cows on camera,will the big bulls leave to find cows , or is it possible cows my come looking for them, or come back into the area once their calfs are bigger? Red Rabbit Report post Posted July 18, 2011 With the monsoon showers, you may wish to look for the greenup areas that will attract the cows and calves, and hence the bulls as the rut begins. Those bulls may move 0-25 miles for their harem. If you knew where that bull was last fall during the rut, I'd go there first. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
azhuntnut Report post Posted July 19, 2011 I have some bulls that I watch during the summer. They usually move to where the cows are located right around the first week of September. I have cameras set out to get pics of cows and bulls in two seperate areas. That way I can watch the bulls grow and see when the bull shows up to hang out with them.
