"Question about filming?"

I ordered a canon HFS-200 from campbells cameras on Tuesday And I'll be getting it Monday. I am planning on filming my grandpas Arizona antelope tag and we both have bull tags that I would like to get filmed! Been watching some you tube videos on some different tips but everything of course is about white tails outta tree stands.

So the question is if anyone has any tips, tricks, techniques or anything they have found to be useful to put a nice video together they would like share?

One thing that makes a video a good memory is to make sure you film moments on the hunt that are not just when you are out hunting. Film your grandpa talking about his childhood or how he learned to hunt or how they used to hunt when he was younger. Film some of the other wildlife you see and the landscape/sunsets. Film you or your grandpa talking about your favorite gun or truck or whatever you are using out there that has some meaning and history with you. it makes it a more interesting video when you watch it with your family.

Film so much that everyone forgets you are there so they can all be natural. I run my camera sometimes when no one knows it is even running.

Work your camera and setting before you get out there. Use a tripod as much as possible and when you pan move slow. Good luck and have fun.
