Please help need to know what braod head to use out of a fast bow

Recommended Posts

I'm shooting the new darton ds-3800 which is the best darton i have had and this would be the 7th one. Im shooting pro-hunter sticks with blazer vein and 100 grain broadheads. I've bought 3 diff broad heads and am having trouble finding one that will shoot great. my last darton was shooting about 320 and rocket titanium shot great out to 80 yards. now with this faster bow I'm have problems which i was expecting. I could always use a little help for coueswhitetail members. i'm going to try twisting my vein's when felched and have only used fixed broadheads. Any Ideas? Thank You!

I am using the slick trick magnum 100gr and I shoot the destroyer 350 and I paper tuned my bow then took it out to broadhead tune well needless to say I did nothing because I was taking the fleching off of my field point arrow every time I shot my broadhead. So if you have not tried the slick trick try it you will be amazed at the accuracy.

You might give the shuttle t's a look. I'm shooting 335 out of my rig and they fly like bullets. Not too sure about other heads but if you can't get a slick trick or shuttle t to fly good, then it is probably your rig.

What is the issue you are having? Not grouping with your field tips, not grouping at all?

What is your arrow spine?

Since you have tried 3 different broadheads I would think you may have another problem.

Have you tried paper and walk back tuning?

I have a fairly new rig also, last week I did walk back tuning and have to move my rest 1/8 inch to the right and 1/8 up and now my field tips and broadheads are grouping together.

I second the strong helical from the new AZ mini fletch.....
