200"mulie Report post Posted July 14, 2011 scouting last year in 31 i almost walked right past a doe at 10 yards. Was walking down this old road you cant drive on and it's so thick down there you can barely see 30 yards ...you can hear water running....this is so perfect. Bet they will let you walk right by them. Couple minutes later i got this chill that someone was watching me....the whole time thought of the messin with sasquatch. As i turn to my left i see nothing....slowly turn to my right and there is a doe at ten yards even let me walk past her (Then said be pretty cool to get a pic) turn back ...took out my cell phone and took a picture. I tried to get closer but she wasn't having it. Also know that deer hold tight when a lot of hunting pressure or hot days. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Curtis Reed Report post Posted July 15, 2011 One year in Minnesota, I was field dressing a buck that I had just downed when another buck walked right up to me within 7 yards and just sat there and watched me dress the other buck for like 5 minutes.
