randyolson Report post Posted July 6, 2011 Got lucky this year and drew an archery bull elk tag for 6A this year....Hopefully all pans out. Been scouting the unit already to find out where the monsters are...There are 4 of us in the group and I sure do hope we all score..! Would be nice..... Randy: If you believe in statistics, they will tell you that based on last year's total hunt data probably only one of you will tag a bull on the hunt this year! This is not an easy unit, and hunting those critters with sharp pointed sticks is a tough proposition. Here is a bull I got last year on the muzzleloader hunt that was held right after the archery hunt. What is crazy is that we saw three bulls larger than mine! Good luck and keep scouting in those real hard to get to places. There are some great bulls out there! Don Martin Arizona Wildlife Outfitters
hunterdude Report post Posted July 22, 2011 Nice bull Don! Dont hang yourself in hunting just pines or just junipers. Do lots of scouting and place lots of cameras!
