Young rd. off of rim

I was wondering if anyone knows if Young rd. coming off of the rim is closed? Thanks and pray for rain!

As far as I know its not. On the tonto NF website there is a map of what is closed.

I was up there last week and it was open. However, I spoke to a G&F officer who said they were planning on closing down everything starting Tues (06/28) until it rains. My guess is that it is probably closed.

Heading up there today father in law has property right off the young rd I am pretty sure we will take it cause last time the chamberlin trail was rough as heck but thats nothing new will let you know tonight

Just got back young road is still open first 4 miles are closed for camping after that its all open

I was just up there today with Chef and the roads are open. They got a little rain in town yesterday and when I came home this afternoon it looked like it was getting ready for a bunch more. Someone said that they got dumped on up at Kohles Ranch at the northern end of the unit. So it is starting to look promising. As for the roads I didn't see anything about any roads being restricted at all north or south. I have heard that the north side is all tore up but I come in from the south all the time now.
