standman Report post Posted June 30, 2011 My nephew and I hit Apache at daylight this morning looking to catch a few fish. We started of dropshotting and the fish were hitting good. We ended up catching 24 nice bass dropshotting. After a while the bite slowed so we went looking to do a little spoon fishing and ended up catching 4 more bass, 18 nice yellow bass, and 1 catfish. It definately was a hot day, both fishing and temperature wise. So we ended up with 28 bass total (4 smallies, 24 lg mouth). Also lost two real big smallies spooning. It was a great time and here are a few pics of my nephews fish include one "trophy" large mouth caught on dropshot. Brian Here is the trophy fish. Caught in the mouth and released unharmed. Red Rabbit Report post Posted July 1, 2011 Brian, Seems you have been doing rather well with the bass there recently. Have you seen any bighorns coming to water or heard the clash of horns? Doug~RR
