azhuntnut Report post Posted June 24, 2011 I have one, but it is built for an AR platform. I reload my own ammo and have got the 87 grain v-max's moving pretty good. I think Browning made some in left hand in the A-bolt series. If you plan on using the 100 grain or largerm make sure the barrel has a 1/9 twist or lower. Your probably gonna have to look on gunbroker or gunsamerica to find a lefty in that caliber. If you want to save a bunch of money, find a .243 and use the Hornady Superformace 95 grain SST. This ammo is very fast and super accurate out of my TC Encore .243. David http://www.hornady.com/store/243-Win-95-gr-SST-Superformance/

I have a D-tech .243 WSSM AR-15, it's a sweet rig, havent had much of a chance to try a lot of different loads in it yet, however I've heard any 87gr. Hornady will shoot good out of them. youngbuck Report post Posted June 24, 2011 I have a 223 WSSM. They are fun, but can be a pain to reload for, with the shoulder needing to be bumped back. If you reload check out WSSMzone.com
azhuntnut Report post Posted June 28, 2011 Yotebuster, Mine is the D-tech. I have been reloading RL-17 with the 87 grain v-max's with great success. I am having good results using 46 and 46.4 of RL-17, but my barrel seems to like 46 grains the best. David
Condor Report post Posted June 28, 2011 Thats is a really cool round my buddy austin shoots one and has reloaded a bunch for them. His is a tack driver with very little recoil. He has mentioned feeding issues though. PM me and I will give you austins number if you want his opinion on the 243 WSSM
