know a good gunsmith

Recommended Posts

So it's time to put together a tack driver, does anyone know or would recommend a good gunsmith? I'm looking at purchasing all componets seperately and having a gumsmith build it for me thanks for any help.

In the valley there is Kodiak precision and Whitecloud. There are some other posts on here about good smiths in the Prescott area, I'm not familiar with them.

I know an excellent smith in Show Low. He built sniper rifles for 4 years in the Marines.

Theres Bob Brackney in Wickenburg................he is the best there is esp with a remington 700 action.............He has built a few rifles for me and for a few of my friends all single hole shooters at 100 yard................He is well known in the benchrest arena but will build whatever you want.............You would think buying all the parts and having a guy put them together would save you money but it in most cases doesnt ........... Bob buys so much of that stuff he gets it much cheaper than most could ......he doesnt make up the prices on parts so it doesnt pay to buy them yourself............. great guy building amazing guns ............. Look him up hes in the book Brackney INC
