Kenetrek Desert Guide Boots

Recommended Posts

I have heard nothing but good things about Kenetreks but they sure are proud of their boots.

I'm curious to see if they are cooler than their regular non insulated boots.

If they are by quite a bit, I can see myself purchasing a pair.

I did not see anything about Gore-tex, so not having that will help with breathability.

they do look good. I am currently in the market for something like that, but those are a little out of my budget.

I have learned the hard way that you just about cant spend enough when it comes to good boots that dont kill your feet or back or kill you from letting you fall down the rocks. Glass is important, rifles are important etc.....but the boots are going to determine if you are going to get to use those other things. Unless you are a road hunter of course.

They look like a nice pair of boots. I own 2 pairs of Kenetreks and they are an awesome boot. Yes, they are pricey, however the comfort and quality they provide is top notch.

I agree Lark, I'm pretty partial to resting the rifle on the mirror and backing right up to them for the loading, plus I get to listen to the radio and keep brandy cold in the cooler.

Looks like an awesome boot may need to save my change for a while. Until then someone get there hands on some and let us know how they are!
