mbiewer Report post Posted June 8, 2011 So we have an older model pop up camper. I know that on some of the newer models they come factory-hard wired with a built in Carbon Monoxide alarm for the models that have a heater. So after waking up to 11 degrees two mornings in a row on an elk hunt, and last seasons deer hunt with a brisk 25 degree temp i broke down and bought a little buddy heater to use on coming hunts. I know that they come with built in devices such as automatic shut off for tipping, and a co2 monitor. I also know that several forums said to not rely on the Co2 sensor it comes with. I wanna buy a battery powered Co2 monitor for the camper, and i know they make them. Does anybody have any recommendations? The lower end ($20 price range) say that there is a temperature range of 40-100 degrees on them. Well, even with a little buddy doing all it can, it may not overcome the 11 degree outside tempreature. I would #1 hate to buy one if it doesnt work. And #2 if it gets cold enough that it wont work for us in the pop up. Thanks for the insight everyone.
