Critters of Tucson

I was working in Tucson today off Starr Pass by the Marriot and seen 5 mule deer with 2 of them bucks. We decided we should get back to work when I spotted a bobcat laying in the rough on the fairway of the 17th hole. I think he was stalking the quail.

 

 

So I decided I would try to sneak up as close as I could and take a picture. Thats when this cottontail decided he wanted to commite suicide.

 

 

I was 19 yards from him when I took this photo, too bad I didn't have my bow.

 

Well its back to work and we seen 5 coyotes in the next few hrs, then we seen 7 javalina come from under these condos by the golf corse.

 

 

I couldn't take it and had to see how close I could get to the javalina. I guess if you're going to be working you should see some critters.

Yea it was a stressfull day but seeing all those critters made it worthwhile. I got within 1 yard of that one little piggy. I think he liked me.

I love that last picture! It made my day, looks like something out of that childrens book "The Three Little Javaliinas". Was there any mistletoe hanging above her? Nice, very nice.
