mbiewer Report post Posted May 24, 2011 Went up to woods canyon for the day this past saturday. Kinda realized how i grew up deprived (ha ha) as i wasnt exposed to fishing as a kid. Most people that we talked to had fairly good luck with just power bait. I didnt get any niblles at all. And after being "drafted" to untangle and repair my girlfriends reel the trout seemed to come alive. Of the four of us that went though, we onyl caught one (and had to put it back). but for those of you looking for some weekend fun... Woods canyon has been stacked with some 4500 trout in the past few weeks. Hopefully you can brave the crowds for the holiday weekend. good luck Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
