Red Rabbit Report post Posted May 20, 2011 Good morning from Wupatki National Monument. Decided to catch the sunrise after the 3 days of rain and snow while hoping for some clouds in the sky and snow on the peaks this morning. On the drive home, an antelope buck ran across the road. Looked to be mid 70s but short in the prongs.
azslim Report post Posted May 20, 2011 Never have stopped by Wupatki, may have to some day. I have visited quite a few cliff dwellings over the years, have some nice pics somewhere - old 35mm camera so not on a disk. You should check out some of those in the Sierra Ancha's along Cherry Creek, but wait till next season, Az Hiways just had an article on them so they are getting quite a few visitors.
