makaio333 Report post Posted May 8, 2011 I've been wanting to try out a back tension release and came across this one. I bought one for 60 bucks. they usually go for 110 new. i haven't tried it yet because im slowly setting up my bow. I was just wondering if any of you have used this release and if you like or dislike it. any tips on shooting it properly etc. thanks hope to hear from you. Sorry I'm with you, I would appreciate your feedback on the release. Did you want a back tension because of a specific reason?

Cdpkook132 Report post Posted December 20, 2011 Great release been using one for over 6 months now. It's comfortable easy and repeatable. If you cheat it it will let you know though.

One of the easiest backtension's to shoot. Use the thumb peg as a safety and just pull thru the shot until it fires. I have a 2 finger and just ordered a 3 finger. They sell an awesome wrist strap that can be used for hunting with the release.. www.whalenshookerrelease.com

ruthunter Report post Posted February 9, 2012 What about in windy conditions? The wind doesnt seem to affect the release from firing early. Just like any other release if your not on the target when it goes off.

June Report post Posted February 9, 2012 Don't get me wrong. This is an excellent back tension release. But like all back tension releases very difficult to get off a clean shot in windy conditions. Sweet when the conditions are favorable.
