CouesWhitetail Report post Posted December 12, 2005 I just wanted to remind people that I created some Christmas cards from Coues deer (and one mule deer) photos. Maybe you have some hunting friends who might enjoy receiving one? here is a link so you can check them out. billrquimby Report post Posted December 13, 2005 Amanda: Here are the cards I'm sending this year. Hope they come through. I used the browse box below this message area to find a jpeg I had done, then clicked the "add this attachment button." Bill

GRONG Report post Posted December 13, 2005 OK OK OK, now where did you get a picture of a "coues" deer rubbing his antlers on an aspen tree? And in the snow mind you. Hmmmm, looks as if Den Mother is losing it, that looks like a muley to me.
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted December 13, 2005 Can't slip anything by you Josh. You are right it's a mule deer. But in my own defense, please note that my very first post in this thread says there is one mule deer in the group. And it's also mentioned in the page that shows the cards. I thought it was a cool photo because of the angle and the buck rubbing, so I included it in the group. Amanda
GRONG Report post Posted December 14, 2005 I didn't even notice that you'd said that. Ok I'll let you off on that one!

Hmmmm, looks as if Den Mother is losing it, that looks like a muley to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Josh: We have Coues deer in the Hall, Rosie and Bennie creek drainages at Greer. I don't remember seeing aspens where we see these deer, but I have lots of aspens outside my cabin doors a couple of miles away so it may be possible to photograph a Coues deer eating on an aspen there. As for Amanda's cards, that definitely is a muley. Bill
