pwrguy Report post Posted April 26, 2011 Does the 2 shell capacity that you use for waterfowl/dove apply to turkey? I can't find it in the regs. In other words..do you have to have a plug in your pump shotgun?

In other words..do you have to have a plug in your pump shotgun? The above, which limits the TOTAL capacity to THREE shells applies only to federally regulated migratory avian critters. The following applies for all other wildlife in AZ: R12-4-303 Unlawful Devices, Methods, and Ammunition 3. Shotguns larger than 10 gauge or shotguns capable of holding more than five shells in the magazine, unless plugged with a one-piece filler that cannot be removed without disassembling the gun, and that limits the magazine capacity to five shells; 4. Semiautomatic centerfire rifles with a magazine capacity of more than five cartridges, unless the magazine is modified with a filler or stop that cannot be removed without disassembling the magazine;

This is what I thought, but there was some discussion in camp as my son showed up without his plug in the gun. I have to agree with you, I can't remember getting more than 1 shot before they were out of range
