My Dad always called it a bean shooter also. He made my first one with strips from a red rubber inner tube for a Model A and a mule deer antler. He was pretty good with a 'bean shooter' too.

Awesome! It’s cool to see someone who’s into traditional bean shootery. Lots better than the new fangled ones they have today. But I guess painting it black, giving it a folding stock and putting “tactical” in the name lets them charge more.

He didn't get one with his slingshot. They wouldn't come closer than 40-45 yds and he needed them to be like 25 yrds. So he ended up using his shotgun instead.

That's some good stuff. In my earlier years of javelina hunting I tried using a sling shot for spooking pigs out of thick canyons but found it was a stupid idea since I could use my varmit call more effectively. lol Thanks for sharing Tony.
