Coach Report post Posted April 21, 2011 LOL, Clay, when you sold your Ally, I had no idea you were saving up for a Destroyer. Great bow. My buddy brought his over a couple days ago. He knew i had a new Hoyt and, well being competitive, wanted to see how it stacked up against his Destroyer. Both were great bows. He shot tight groups with mine, I shot tight groups with his...overall, I found the Destroyer faster, but he thought my CRX35 was quieter, and I agree. The draw cycle was pretty much identical. We both went away with a good respect for both bows. The destroyer is faster, for sure. The Hoyt is much more quiet. I like the handle on the CRX 35 better, but that's personal choice. willhunt4coues Report post Posted April 21, 2011 Thanks Jason I did not like the feel and found out it was the PLASTIC handle on the bow. REALLY? Why out of everything did they use plastic not there wood like they usually use? Oh well problem solved just took it off. As for the string yes that is a stock cable and strings. Here soon (I hope) I am going to upgrade to Vapor Trail Strings and Cables and get ANOTHER 5 to 10fps out of the bow. Jason my goal this year is to get a BEAR with my new bow and a 105" better coues. I may have to pick between one of the 2 but HOPEFULLY I can harvest them both. I also have seen a Lion in the area of the bear and dangit if I could get him too NOW THAT WOULD BE COOL. cramerhunts Report post Posted April 26, 2011 Sweet looking rig Clay. I shot the Destroyer, both 340 and 350 and they were super fast. I ended up getting the Invasion though since it felt a little better to me throughout the draw cycle. It was a tough decision though since they were all awesome. Any luck with the bear?
