Xman2000 Report post Posted April 16, 2011 Hey all just wanted to show off my new coues getter!(The Good Lord Willing). Just got her last week and finally have her set up.The more I shoot this Carnage the more impressed I become after paper tuning and setting up my 20 yard pin I took this Baby out to usery and started flinging arrows after I got my 40 yard set up It wasn't long before I was shaving the vanes off my new arrows the groups were that close .I love how smooth the draw cycle is and feels very comfy and steady in my hands what really got me was how quite this baby is.I really put a lot of decision making in buying this bow especially since I am a South Paw and its hard to find the perfect bow for a lefty I am not one who gets a new bow every year. I saved for a long time so I could pay with hard earned cash. My old Browning was 7 years old so I looked around for a long time tried a lot of the newest bows out even leaning to wards the omen or possibly a Z7 but I don't buy bows on a impulse knowing that I will be shooting a bow for a long time . I was really impressed with my kids new bear apprentice that we got him .He was very comfortable with it and it set up so easy So I started doing a ton of research and even called there customer service they answered all my questions and were extremly helpful so Finally had to hold and try out different bows to find the right one and make a love connection with a bow to know if it is going home with me or not.Now I can't wait for Deer archery season to roll around ,in the meantime I hope to be fling an arrow every chance I get till then .Well couldn't be happier with my Carnage in AP camo she is so beautiful to me! My son has made me a huge Bear Fan!
thegunsmith2506 Report post Posted April 16, 2011 That is a sweet looking bow! I am a big fan of Bear Bows, but the new ones just don't feel right to me. Too bad cause I really liked my Truth 2, and wanted to buy the Carnage this year.

Chef Report post Posted April 17, 2011 Congrats on your purchase! Looks pretty sweet. I visited the Fred Bear museum when it was back in Gainsville Florida. Very impressive and a great collection of trophies, feats, awards, and photos.

Chimichanga Report post Posted April 20, 2011 Bought the bear assault last November. Took it out during the rut but never had an opportunity to put the pins on a buck, only a javelina.. I love the bow; smooth draw, quiet, and a smooth shot. I originally wanted the truth 2 but I found a steal on the Assault so I went for it.. Hopefully I will arrow a ton of animals with it before it gets replaced. My friend killed his first buck ever with a Bear Charge this past August. I might get my girlfriend an Apprentice this summer.
