Quite a few of these "ramp trucks" have been encountered and seized over the years. I personally was involved in getting one about 10 years ago. Unfortunately since the truck is on the south side, the Mexican authorities actually takes them. All too often, the smuggling organizations simply show up and drive it away from the Mexican impound yard since most of the Mexican cops are bought and paid for.

My only question is when are we, as a nation, going to get serious about the illegal alien and drug smuggling problem?

wow, that's pretty clever. I think the answer to the illegal immigration issue is to make conditions in their own country better so they have no interest in coming here. And of course it's our demand for drugs that draws the drugs smugglers here. I doubt there has been a fence ever made that humans haven't figured a way to get under, over, or around it.

Wonder why no one has suggested treating the drug smugglers and illegal aliens whom we find in our country the same way their countries would treat us if we were caught violating their laws?
