bradne Report post Posted April 7, 2011 I used one of these a couple of yeaars ago on my Rem 700 30-06. Instead of just a drop plate, you would actually have a magazine (which I prefer). Straight drop in conversion. Took about 15 minutes at my kitchen table. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Firearm-Components/Magazines-Clips%7C/pc/104792580/c/104717880/sc/104442480/Kwik-Klip-Remington-Model-700-Clip-Conversion-Kit/741478.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fshooting-firearm-components-magazines-clips%2F_%2FN-1100238%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104442480%3FWTz_l%3DUnknown%253Bcat104792580%253Bcat104717880&WTz_l=Unknown%3Bcat104792580%3Bcat104717880%3Bcat104442480
Brian27 Report post Posted April 8, 2011 I may be taking this route. How is the quality of the kit? Is it all steel? any aluminum/plastic? Thanks for the heads up. Brian
youngbuck Report post Posted April 8, 2011 Another option is Pacific tool and guage. I think the aluminum ones are around 100 and steel and stainless are more.
MRL1984 Report post Posted April 11, 2011 I spent some time reviewing doing this. After a lot different reviews on the Kwick Klip, I stayed clear of it. Just seemed like it was either a great or junk, mostly based on what caliber rifle the user had. I just wasn't willing to take the chance of getting the junk version. Getting an actual remington conversion kit or replacement parts was fairly difficult as well since I was looking when everyone was out of stock. They are expensive considering what they are. Brownells is around $140.00. I got mine from Stocky's Stocks for 130.00 Edited to remove my lack of skill in adding links.

If I'd known you were going to spend that much on the part, I would have sold you mine and bought the kwick klip.
Brian27 Report post Posted April 13, 2011 Thank you all. I ended up buying a very nice remington 700 BDl and selling my ADl.
