2nd Leg of the Triple Crown

Recommended Posts

Kinda late notice...but for anyone who isn't aware the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown takes places this weekend at the Triangle T Guest Ranch east of Benson. Registration for competitive shooters closes on Friday April 1st. The shoot is hosted by the Desert Archers and features 3 competitive courses and 3 fun courses. I helped set up a course last weekend and it is a gonna be a great shoot. You can register here: http://www.desertarchers.com/RumbleRocks.html or see the attached PDF for more info.

There is "primitive" camping on the property for $5 (I think) and some RV camping with electric/water hookups for a few bucks more as well, but you might want to call Triangle T to confirm availability.

I think registration closes at 5 PM Friday for the competitive shoots, but you can register online and then show up Saturday morning if that is easier. The fun courses will be open to shooters on Friday afternoon.

Hope you can make it.

Is there public land to camp on near the shoot? What time does registration end on friday? Thanks

Thanks to everyone who came out to the shoot. Scores are up on the Desert Archers website.

It's my understanding that participation in the Competitive classes was the highest level ever. Thanks again for supporting the shoot and congrats to the winners. Here are a few pics that don't do justice to shooting 3D in this unique environment.

Siwash,

Thanks for capturing the beauty of this unique landscape in your pictures. I think "Cochise" is smiling in the background in one photo. Sounds like it was a great event. I can see why it's called "The Rumble in the Rocks" B) ..
