Couzer Report post Posted March 27, 2011 I can't seem to find what the real difference between the hunting and target turret is on the Zeiss Conquest riflescope line. Can anyone help? the hunting turret is not really a turret, just the cap over elevation and left to right adjustment. the target turret actually has a turret to where you can turn it,,, no cap. ThomC Report post Posted March 28, 2011 Are you saying that the regular standard turrets are just as precise?
Couzer Report post Posted March 28, 2011 Are you saying that the regular standard turrets are just as precise? Yes they are the same in preciseness! (hope that is a word) These pictures represent a zeiss scope with target turrets and hunting turrets I posted 2 pics of the same scope with hunting turrets (ones with the caps) I do not know why zeiss list there scopes with "hunting turret", Im guessing just marketing. If anyone know something different they can enlighten us. I called zeiss and ordered a hunting turret but wanted the target turret style. So I returned it for the target turret, my fault! On both of these scopes as far as I know YOU CAN ORDER a custom aftermarket turret.
Red Rabbit Report post Posted March 28, 2011 The hunting turrets are finger adjustable, but do not have any numbers, just hash marks. Both are 1/4 moa clicks.

If anyone know something different they can enlighten us The hunting style turret is low profile and are tight against the scope so they wont get caught on things. The cap is there to help protect against the elements that may be encountered in the rough outdoors while hunting.
