CouesWhitetail Report post Posted May 18, 2011 we have two seats available...Josh's wife is sick and so they won't be able to make it. If anyone wants one or two tickets, let me know ASAP!
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted May 20, 2011 Ok, those last two seats have been taken by Hector Penunuri. You guys will enjoy meeting him and Hector is donating a great prize you will want to bid on....he is donating custom load work-up for your rifle. Basically he works up 6 loads and you go shoot them and see which you like best and then he builds a box of 50 of those for you. You can visit his website for more info: http://www.hpballistics.com/

elkster9 Report post Posted May 22, 2011 It was another great event. I picked up some fantastic deals in the silent auction and got the chance to hang out with some other CW members, I had not previously met. Thanks again to those generous folks who support our military. My buddy who is stationed out at Luke AFB, attended his first conservation banquet last night with his Free dinner ticket and won a nice Tikka T3 7mm Rifle. That I must say is just plain awesome. Thanks again.
Chef Report post Posted May 22, 2011 Pictures from last night... I didn't get everyone as people weren't always at their seats when I was walking around. (too busy spending money!) We filled three tables this year! The food was great! i didn't get the prime rib in photos but it was perfect as well as the scalloped potatoes and julienned veggies. Amanda brought a stupendous repro with her. this is from a buck Josh found. A lot of very nice items throughout the main auction, as well as the silent auctions. A few of the fine folks from the cwt tables... WINNER! WINNER! WINNER! Thanks again to all who attended. We had a great time and the function was put together really well. tjhunt2 Report post Posted May 22, 2011 Last night's banquet was all and then some what I had invisioned it would be. The food was good and the atmosphere was full of happy people enjoying the evening. Even though I didn't bid on any of the hunts, it was exciting to watch the bidders bid against each other. Ilene & Roger, along with Kathi & Mark, were the high bidders on some awesome hunts. Here are a few more pictures to go along with Chef's. Ellen & Tony Gary enjoying the evening Peg & I Ilene & Roger Mark & Kathi Roger checking out the goodies in his new cooler Ilene was extremely excited with Roger's winning bid Amanda with replica of Josh's awesome buck Mark & Kathi stopped by the house, after the banquet, and we shared a very good bottle of wine over a few hunting stories. The perfect ending to a great day.

CouesWhitetail Report post Posted May 22, 2011 I had a blast even though I was working hard all night. Thanks to Ilene and Roger and Gary for watching my raffle tickets for me while I worked! I won a very nice range finder...I never win anything in the raffles! Actually I had designated that raffle ticket to be for the website, so I guess someone here will get to win the Leupold range finder in a contest here...(or maybe I will donate my older range finder to the website and keep the new one, which I could really use!). Thanks to everyone for coming out to support wildlife conservation in arizona. It was a great turnout and I think both the ADA and Antelope Foundation were very happy with the results. Hector made everyone jealous by sporting his new CouesWhitetail.com tshirt....we reworked the design since the last time he wore one...it looked great Hector! I always feel like I don't have enough time to chat with everyone that attends since I am running around trying to keep things running smoothly, but I had a great time visiting with those that I could. I really appreciate everyone dedicating their time and money to the event....a lot of hard work goes into it and it was fun seeing people enjoy the evening! Oh and nice pics of the food Hector...as you might guess, I loved the flower with the salad! And TJ, I will let Jack know you guys enjoyed his wine! He makes some excellent beer and wine.
