bonecollector Report post Posted March 14, 2011 I just set out this cam recently and I had a lot of blurred pics. The cam is brand new 1st time set out. I hope there is not a problem with it as far as trigger speed. I have another Covert and never had this issue before.

gotcoues Report post Posted March 15, 2011 Has the buck you were hunting reappeared on camera since your hunt ended? I was wondering if this buck was him.
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted March 15, 2011 If it's the Covert HR 8.0, Gino is right, they had some issues with the blur and issued a software upgrade. You can still get that upgrade if you haven't already or another option is to lower it to 5 MP rather than 8. apparently and 8 MP cam has to keep the aperture open too long in order to gather more details for the higher resolution pic. bonecollector Report post Posted March 15, 2011 Its not the HR 8.0, Its just the reg covert 2. There is a difference though between this one and the other covert 2 I bought about a year ago. This newer one will take a 4gb card as the older one I have will only take a 2gb card Max.
bonecollector Report post Posted March 15, 2011 Has the buck you were hunting reappeared on camera since your hunt ended? I was wondering if this buck was him. I haven't seen the buck I was hunting since my hunt ended. I just barely put my camera back out at the end of jan. This buck here is a different one that I have never seen before in the area. I did see this buck on my way in to check the camera. I had him at about 75 yds broadside and he never knew I was there. I wish it were like that during hunting season!
